Cost and Estimation Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost & Estimation Lead to join the Facilities Engineering, directly reporting to the Program Manager. The Cost Lead will play a critical role in cost estimation, budgeting, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and overall cost management to ensure project financial success. This position requires a keen understanding of project cost control methodologies, value engineering, effective stakeholder coordination, and proficiency in cost management software.

Cost Management & Reporting:

• Develop, implement, and maintain

  project cost control systems and procedures

  .
• Prepare and monitor

  project budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts

  .
• Conduct

  cost variance analysis

  and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Track

  expenditures, commitments, and changes to project costs

  .
• Generate

  cost reports and dashboards

  for senior management.

Project Control & Financial Oversight:

• Work closely with

  Project Managers, Procurement, and Finance teams

  to align cost strategies.
• Ensure compliance with

  contractual, financial, and corporate guidelines

  .
• Assess and manage

  risks associated with cost deviations

  .
• Provide

  cost optimization strategies and value engineering solutions

  to enhance project efficiency.

Stakeholder Coordination & Documentation:

• Assist in

  contract negotiations and financial planning

  .
• Maintain up-to-date

  cost control documentation and change order logs

  .
• Coordinate with

  vendors, contractors, and internal teams

  for cost-related matters.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in

  engineering, Construction Management

  , or a related field.

• 10-15 years of experience

  in cost control, budgeting, and financial planning in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of

  cost engineering principles, financial forecasting, project cost estimation techniques, and value engineering
