Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cost Accountant, located in Mumbai. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing cost reports, budgeting, monitoring expenditures, and assisting in financial decision-making processes. The role requires maintaining accurate financial records, performing cost-benefit analysis, and ensuring cost control measures are in place. The Cost Accountant will also collaborate with other departments to streamline cost accounting procedures and provide financial insights for strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost reporting
• Experience with cost-benefit analysis and cost control measures
• Excellent record-keeping and financial data management skills
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus
• Experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry is preferred
