Job Title: Cost Accountant

Department: Finance & Accounts

Job Summary:
The Cost Accountant will be responsible for managing product costing, monitoring cost variances, and providing accurate cost reports to support business decisions and cost control measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain cost sheets for all products.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to identify variances.
• Assist in setting standard costs and reviewing them periodically.
• Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Monitor production costs and ensure cost efficiency.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and profitability analysis.
• Coordinate with production, stores, and purchase departments for cost-related data.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 2–4 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of costing methods and inventory management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
