Job Description

Job Purpose:

To manage sourcing and procurement of indirect categories (non-medical spend) across the organization, ensuring cost optimization, supplier relationship management, and compliance with procurement policies to support the overall Supply Chain Management (SCM) function.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect procurement categories such as IT, Marketing, HR services, Facilities Management, Capex, Admin, and other support functions.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to achieve the best value in terms of cost, quality, service, and delivery.
Drive cost savings initiatives through strategic sourcing, process improvements, and supplier consolidation.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Operations, HR, Admin, IT, etc.) to understand requirements and ensure timely fulfilment.
Manage end-to-end procurement cycle including RFPs, RFQs, vendor evaluation, contract management, and purchase order processing.
Ensure vendor compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and quality standards.
Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and supplier performance reviews.
Develop strong vendor partnerships to ensure continuous supply, innovation, and service improvements.
Monitor procurement KPIs and prepare MIS/reports for management review.
Support audits and ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of indirect procurement processes and strategic sourcing.
Negotiation and contract management skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Vendor relationship and performance management.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics or equivalent) and MS Excel.
