Role Overview: As an Assurance Senior at EY, you will serve as the main point of contact from GDS for tasks assigned by global client serving assurance teams. Your responsibilities will include ensuring timeliness and quality of deliverables, managing day-to-day operations of engagements, and leading an engagement from the GDS front to deliver high-quality work in line with global team expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality work as per EY GAM and global team expectations - Demonstrate strong understanding of GAM while reviewing procedures performed by GDS staff and utilize EY tools effectively - Develop and maintain productive relationships with key EY Global counterparts - Understand EY Quality and Risk Management procedures and ensure they are embedded in engagement teams" work - Discuss work flow management with assurance teams, allocate resources, and monitor performance against standards - Demonstrate professionalism, competence, and clear communication with GDS and Global teams - Identify opportunities to improve scope of work for GDS on engagements and standardize review processes - Motivate and lead GDS team members, identify key talents, and provide performance feedback/training - Responsible for various operational matters related to engagements aligned - Conduct timely performance reviews and lead by example Qualification Required: To qualify for this role, you must have: - Qualified Chartered Accountant Freshers (ICAI) or CA/ACCA/CPA with 1+ years post-qualification experience in accounting firm or MNC - Semi Qualified with 6+ years of relevant Assurance work experience Additional Details: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a global delivery network operating in six locations worldwide.
