Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cook, based in Ahmedabad. The Cook will be responsible for preparing meals according to dietary and nutritional requirements, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and managing food supplies and inventory. Day-to-day tasks also include following safety protocols, ensuring kitchen equipment cleanliness, and preparing meals according to the organizational standards and quality requirements. Collaboration with other staff to ensure timely meal preparation is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cooking a variety of dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, with knowledge of nutritional needs and meal preparation techniques
• Skills in kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and maintaining cleanliness
• Ability to manage kitchen equipment, monitor food supplies, and plan menus
• Collaborative work ethics, time management, and the ability to work in a team environment
• Prior experience in institutional or commercial kitchens is an advantage
• Technical knowledge in handling kitchen appliances and tools
• Basic knowledge of dietary restrictions, allergen information, and food preservation techniques
