Arch) from any reputed institutions Work experience required: 8 -10 years in similar profile Job Description: · Develop and deliver courses in interior design covering design theory, space planning, materials, lighting, sustainability, and emerging trends in the field. · Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment through innovative teaching methodologies, including lectures, studio sessions, workshops, and hands-on projects. · Mentor and guide students in exploring design concepts, developing technical skills, and cultivating their creativity in interior design. · Engage in scholarly activities, research endeavors, or creative projects relevant to interior design, contributing to the academic and professional advancement of the field. · Stay abreast of current industry trends, technological advancements, and innovations in interior design through continuous learning and professional development. · Contribute to departmental activities, committees, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the Interior Design program. · Collaborate with faculty members, industry professionals, and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate cross-disciplinary learning experiences and projects. · Foster connections with industry partners to create opportunities for internships, collaborations, or real-world design projects for students. Desired Skills and knowledge: · Demonstrated expertise and professional experience in interior design, showcased through a strong portfolio of design projects or industry experience. · Previous teaching experience at the university level or relevant experience conducting workshops, seminars, or training sessions in interior design. · Proficiency in design software/tools commonly used in interior design, such as CAD software, BIM applications, and other relevant design tools. · Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively convey design concepts, methodologies, and industry practices to inspire and motivate students.
