As a Controls Assurance at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence in the digital landscape. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting Controls Assurance reviews, internal audits, and assessments to ensure risk management and internal control effectiveness. - Applying methodologies for Control Design Effectiveness Assurance and Operating Effectiveness Testing. - Consolidating and analyzing information from various sources to provide meaningful insights and reports for stakeholders. - Influencing stakeholders through briefings and presentations. - Managing issues to resolution and multitasking effectively. - Collaborating across the bank to maintain a robust control environment aligned with policies and standards. - Developing detailed test plans to identify weaknesses in internal controls and mitigate potential risks. - Communicating key findings to stakeholders and business units to improve control efficiency. - Creating a knowledge center for documentation and training on internal controls. Qualifications required for the role: - Experience in risk management, internal controls, and Controls Assurance reviews. - Strong project and change management skills. - Analytical approach and ability to manage issues effectively. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to multitask and complete assignments with varying lead times. - Self-starter with the ability to influence stakeholders. - Desirable skills include relevant professional certifications, knowledge of Private Banking Business, and understanding of the Financial Services Industry. Location: Noida In this role, you will partner with the bank to provide independent assurance on control processes and advise on improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal controls framework.
