Panel Wiring Technician

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Panel Wiring Technician to join our team in kattur, Thirumullaivoyal , Chennai. The role involves assembling and wiring electrical control panels, junction boxes, and PLC panels based on schematics and layout drawings, as well as reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.

The candidate will be responsible for performing cable management, labelling, and routing wires neatly, ensuring wiring complies with safety standards and quality policies, conducting functional testing of panels to ensure proper operation, and diagnosing and resolving issues related to panel wiring or components.

Collaboration with the engineering team for design updates, maintaining tools and equipment in good condition, and adhering to workplace safety protocols are also key aspects of this role.

Qualifications: Diploma/ITI in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 1+ years of experience or fresher in panel wiring or a related field, strong knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and components, and familiarity with tools like multimeters, wire crimpers, and cable cutters.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to read and understand electrical schematics, attention to detail, a commitment to high-quality workmanship, and good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills: Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and other automation components, as well as experience with wiring HT/LT panels, will be an added advantage.
