Welders- Industrial machinery & Conveyors

As a skilled Welder, your role will be to specialize in the fabrication and assembly of weighing machines, bagging systems, and conveyor units. You will be required to have hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication, structural welding, and a strong understanding of machinery components. Your precision, quality workmanship, and commitment to safety will be crucial for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and machine layouts. - Perform MIG/TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum parts for industrial equipment. - Fabricate and assemble structural frames, machine parts, and conveyor components according to specifications. - Operate cutting tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment. - Conduct quality checks on welds to ensure structural integrity and clean finish. - Assist in the installation and fitting of welded components into finished machines. - Follow proper safety procedures and consistently use PPE. - Maintain welding equipment and work area in a clean, functional condition. - Collaborate closely with design engineers, fitters, and assembly teams. Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of experience in welding for industrial equipment or machinery manufacturing. - Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding; experience with stainless steel and thin-gauge welding preferred. - Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. - Knowledge of fabrication processes including cutting, grinding, and fitting. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Welding certification is a plus (AWS or equivalent). - Physically fit and able to lift heavy parts and stand for long periods. In this role, you will also benefit from: - Experience in manufacturing bagging machines, conveyors, or packaging equipment. - Basic mechanical assembly skills. - Ability to assist with machine fitting or light fabrication outside of welding.
