Responsibilities:

As a Contracts Engineer, you will manage the contractual aspects of an engineering project, ensuring compliance with terms, timelines, and budgets, and overseeing project execution. Your responsibilities will broadly include:

• Contract Management:

  Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of project contracts.

• Negotiation & Documentation:

  Handle contract negotiation, preparation of contractual documentation, and maintenance of all contract-related records.

• Compliance & Oversight:

  Ensure all project activities adhere to contractual terms, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

• Risk Management:

  Identify, assess, and mitigate potential contractual risks and issues.

• Financial Oversight:

  Monitor project budgets and timelines from a contractual perspective, ensuring financial compliance.

• Communication & Coordination:

  Serve as a key point of contact for contractual matters, facilitating effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

• Issue Resolution:

  Lead in resolving contractual disputes and claims, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.

• Project Execution Support:

  Provide contractual advice and support to the project execution teams.

Profile/Skills

Experience & Education:

• Engineering Graduate

  with a minimum of

  7 years of experience

  , including at least

  3 years of experience in metro projects

  .
• OR,

  Diploma holder

  with a minimum of

  10 years of experience

  , including at least

  5 years of experience in metro projects

  .

• Communication:

  Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

• Cultural Awareness:

• Problem-Solving:

  Strong ability to problem-solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, by applying industry best practices.
