As desired find herewith JD Contracts Engineer. We are looking for engineer with 10 12 yrs experience in similar capacity.

Location: Project Site or Head Office (depending on project phase)

Job Description

To manage, analyze, negotiate, and administer construction contracts to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with legal and technical requirements. Will be Posted at Site or at Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

1.Contract Development & Negotiation, monitoring

Prepare, review finalise condition of Contracts, subcontracts, and work orders.
Specify scope, deliverables, timelines, and payment terms.Negotiate terms with stake holders like vendors, subcontractors, Client.Interpret contract clauses and ensure project adherence.Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory standards.3.Risk Management

Conduct risk assessments during tendering, execution, and closure.
Develop mitigation strategies for contractual and commercial risks.4.Client & Stakeholder Management

Maintain strong client relationships.
Handle claims, disputes, and change orders professionally.5.Documentation & Dispute Resolution

Maintain records for claims, variations, and arbitration.
Prepare documentation for dispute resolution boards.6.Subcontractor Management

Finalize work orders, rates, and scope.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and reconcile quantities.Skills & Competencies 

Strong understanding of FIDIC,GCC, and other standard contract forms.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and contract management tools.Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to read technical drawings and understand construction methodologies.Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering(mandatory).
Masters in Construction Management or Contract Law( preferred).Certifications like CPCM,FIDIC, or PMP are advantageous.
