IT Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Engineer IT End User Services

  • Installing and configuring

    computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Taking ownership of issues

    by carrying out problem analysis to implement permanent fixes, aiming to restore service as quickly as possible. You'll escalate incidents to other support teams when necessary.
  • Monitoring and maintaining

    computer systems and networks.
  • Responding in a timely manner

    to service issues and requests.
  • Providing technical support

    across the company, which may involve in-person or phone assistance.
  • Setting up accounts

    for new users.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Job Experience:

    3 to 4 years of relevant experience in IT support.
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Operating Systems:

    Hands-on experience with different client operating systems like

    Microsoft Windows 10, 11, and Linux

    .
  • Microsoft Office/O365:

    Must be fluent in

    Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project

    . Visio skills are also preferred.
  • Workstation Setup:

    Working experience to install, configure, and set up workstations, servers, printers, and equipment for various locations, management meetings, projects, and reviews.
  • Networking Concepts:

    Good understanding of networking concepts like

    LAN and WAN

    .
  • Communication Skills:

    Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Key Qualities:

    Quick learner and self-motivated, with a technical, logical thought process and strong problem-solving skills. You should also have an ability to stick to strict deadlines, a keen eye for detail, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • MSCE Certification

  • ITIL Certification
