As a Contractor Revenue Officer in the paint industry, your role involves generating sales, managing contractor relationships, conducting market research, and showcasing product expertise. Here are the key responsibilities you will be expected to handle: - **Sales Generation:** - Identify and pursue sales opportunities with contractors to meet revenue targets. - Build a strong pipeline of potential customers through prospecting and networking. - Deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to secure contracts. - **Contractor Relationship Management:** - Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors, understanding their needs. - Act as the main point of contact, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction. - Conduct regular business reviews with contractors for growth opportunities and product training. - **Market Research and Analysis:** - Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. - Analyze sales data and customer feedback to develop effective sales strategies. - Provide feedback to the management team on customer preferences and market demands. - **Product Knowledge and Expertise:** - Develop a comprehensive understanding of paint products, features, and applications. - Keep informed about new product launches and industry developments. - **Sales Reporting and Forecasting:** - Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts using CRM software.
