Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Content Writer Team Lead to guide and mentor our content writing team. This role is ideal for someone with prior professional writing and leadership experience who can help shape content strategy for the travel industry. You will be responsible for overseeing content creation, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring that all travel-related content aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Oversight & Quality Control

• Review, proofread, and edit content written by the team to maintain high professional standards.

•Ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment in blogs, itineraries, travel guides, newsletters, and social media posts.

•Provide constructive feedback and improve the overall quality of written content.

2. Leadership & Mentorship

•Guide and support content interns in developing their professional writing skills.

•Share best practices for storytelling, SEO, and content structuring.

•Motivate the team to meet deadlines and deliver impactful travel content.

3. Strategy & Content Planning

•Collaborate with the marketing and SEO teams to align content with campaigns, travel packages, and promotional goals.

•Brainstorm and plan new content initiatives (destination blogs, travel tips, promotional campaigns, etc.).

•Identify trending travel topics to boost audience engagement.

4. Collaboration & Communication

•Coordinate with design, marketing, and social media teams for cohesive content delivery.

•Ensure smooth communication and workflow between writers and other departments.

•Report content performance, challenges, and outcomes to management.

Who We’re Looking For:

1. Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
2. Minimum 1–2 years of professional writing experience (internships/freelance work also considered if strong portfolio).
3. Strong editing, proofreading, and content structuring skills.
4. Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles.
5. Prior experience in guiding or mentoring a team (preferred but not mandatory).
6. Passionate about travel, storytelling, and creating engaging content for diverse audiences.
7. Organized, responsible, and able to lead a team in a collaborative remote setup.
