Content Writer

Role Description

This is a remote/flexible role for a Content Writer with a commitment of 10-15 hours/week. You will be owning and creating clear, compelling, and engaging content, developing content strategies, conducting research, writing, and proofreading across a variety of formats and channels.

Whether it’s writing thought-provoking articles, catchy social media captions, or simplifying complex ideas, you’ll help shape how we deliver to the world.

Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality and original content for blog posts, social media, website, newsletters, and marketing campaigns
• Translate complex ideas and data into easy-to-understand, engaging stories.
• Conduct thorough research
• Proofread and edit content for clarity, tone, grammar, and accuracy
• Assist in developing communication strategies and messaging guidelines

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A creative thinker with strong attention to detail
• Ability to adapt tone and style based on the audience and platform
• Passion for storytelling, content strategy and social change
• Self-driven, responsible, and willing to learn
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is a plus
