About the Role:

Content Writer (Indian Writer for the UK Market)

You’ll be solving for one of these problem statements:

Story Adaptation & Localization

• Adapt long-form fiction into serialized scripts for the UK audience, maintaining narrative flow, emotional depth, and engagement.
• Localize content to reflect British cultural sensibilities while retaining the original story’s essence.

Content Review & Quality Assurance

• Read and review 40–60 chapters weekly, flagging inconsistencies in dialogue, prose, pacing, or character arcs.
• Rewrite and refine scripts to enhance clarity, readability, and audience engagement.

Collaboration & Pipeline Management

• Work closely with the Creative Lead to ensure tone, pacing, and character consistency across all scripts.
• Maintain a high-quality, consistent content pipeline across multiple genres and projects.

Here’s what we are looking for:

• Experience & Expertise:

  3–6 years in fiction writing or editorial roles within publishing, media, or content platforms.

• Editorial Strength:

  Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of content.

• Storytelling Skills:

  Excellent ability to adapt stories for cross-cultural audiences while preserving emotional impact.

• Cultural Fluency:

  Proficiency in English and a deep understanding of British culture, language nuances, and reader expectations.

• Project Management:

  Capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  Experience with long-form fiction, scriptwriting, or serialized content is a plus.
