Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Create diverse content:

    Produce a wide range of written material, including articles, blog posts, website content, email campaigns, social media posts, white papers, and educational guides.
  • Translate complex topics:

    Break down intricate insurance policy language and legal jargon into clear, accessible, and reader-friendly content for various audiences.
  • Conduct research:

    Perform extensive research on insurance products, industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to ensure content is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Optimize for SEO:

    Use search engine optimization (SEO) best practices, such as keyword research, to increase online visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Collaborate across teams:

    Work closely with legal, compliance, marketing, and product development teams to ensure all content is legally sound and aligned with overall brand goals.
  • Maintain content quality:

    Edit and proofread all written materials for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to company style and brand voice.
  • Manage content calendars:

    Ensure timely delivery of content by managing production workflows and editorial calendars.
  • Analyze performance:

    Use analytics to track content performance and identify new content opportunities based on audience needs.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Education:

    A bachelor's degree is generally preferred,
  • Industry knowledge:

    A strong understanding of insurance concepts, terminology, and industry regulations is often required, and experience in the financial or insurance sector is highly preferred.
  • Writing proficiency:

    Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential.
  • Portfolio:

    Candidates must possess a strong writing portfolio that demonstrates the ability to handle complex topics and create content for various formats.
  • Technical skills:

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) is often necessary.
