1. Design and layout books, workbooks, and educational materials using Adobe InDesign and other relevant software/tools
2. Responsible for pagination, typesetting, formatting, and pre-press requirements
3. Proofread and verify content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, mathematical equations, scientific notations, technical accuracy and formatting errors
4. Preparation of print-ready files with proper specifications (bleeds, margins, colors)
5. Conduction of periodic quality audits and pre-press checks
6. Management of multiple projects simultaneously and regular coordination with relevant stakeholders across various academic segments
1. 3-5 years of experience in publishing/education industry related to book design, print design, or publishing
2. Graduate/Postgraduate (Any discipline) with degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communication (or equivalent experience)
Must-have Skills
Adobe InDesign (Expert Level), Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Print production and pre-press knowledge, Typography, layout, and color theory
Language (English) proficiency with good grammar, Proofreading and copy-editing abilities, Attention to detail in complex technical/academic content
Time management and organizational skills, Strong communication and collaboration, Quality-focussed individual
