Job Description

As a CMS Engineer at Owens & Minor, you will play a crucial role in driving digital marketing initiatives, implementing greenfield solutions, and modernizing existing solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the introduction and implementation of new technologies and frameworks like SaaS-based digital experience platforms, headless architecture, edge computing, and Gen AI. - Collaborating with marketing to create compelling omnichannel experiences, enhancing customer adoption, engagement, personalization, and analytics. - Developing project deliverables, proof-of-concepts, and piloting new technologies to drive innovation. - Ensuring the delivery of quality code by yourself, team members, and vendors through code review, verification against best practices, and quality testing. - Assisting in the architecture of web and mobile applications to meet user and business requirements effectively. - Applying best practices to optimize performance, scalability, and user experience of digital solutions. - Working closely with cross-functional team members to implement solutions and address challenges. - Implementing personalization, audience segmentation, email campaigns, and customer journey analytics while prioritizing security and privacy. Your proficiency should include: - HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, C#, .NET, NodeJS, Responsive Design, and GraphQL. - Experience with SaaS-based digital experience platforms (e.g., Sitecore or Optimizely), personalization, security, SEO, search, workflows, and commerce. - Utilization of visual editor, personalization, customer journey analytics, audience segmentation, and running campaigns effectively. - Background in reusable components, templates, customization, and analytics for digital experiences. - Optimization of digital experiences for improved performance and scalability. - Integration of digital experiences with third-party systems such as ERP systems. - Knowledge in mobile/omnichannel experience and migration experience to SaaS-based headless architecture is a significant plus. - Deployment on edge platforms like Vercel, Netlify, or GCP firebase, and preferred certifications in Developer or System Administrator Certification. Educational requirement: - Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in relevant skills. Work Location: - Pune, India. A hybrid work model is preferred, with remote work possible for suitable candidates. Work Shifts: - The role requires a significant overlap with US time zones, specifically from 2 PM to 11 PM IST.
