Role Overview

We are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer with strong foundations in Computer Vision (CV), Deep Learning (DL), and Machine Learning (ML). The role combines dataset engineering, annotation automation, and AI model development with deployment of optimized solutions for real-world industrial environments. You will play a key role in building, training, and deploying CV models that power our waste sorting systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize computer vision models for object detection, segmentation, and defect classification.
• Own the end-to-end model lifecycle – data preprocessing, annotation workflows, training, validation, and deployment.
• Automate dataset curation, annotation tasks (CVAT), and preprocessing pipelines.
• Manage dataset lifecycle on AWS S3, ensuring proper versioning, synchronization, and quality checks.
• Convert trained models into ONNX/TensorRT formats and benchmark for edge deployments.
• Collaborate with robotics and software teams to integrate CV models into production pipelines.
• Maintain documentation and reports on datasets, experiments, and deployment workflows.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in computer vision / AI model development.
• Proficiency in Python (PyTorch, OpenCV, NumPy); familiarity with C/C++ is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with annotation tools (CVAT preferred) and dataset pipelines.
• Knowledge of AWS S3, Docker, and cloud-based workflows.
• Experience with model optimization and deployment on edge devices.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with MLflow / Weights & Biases for experiment tracking.
• Knowledge of sensor data acquisition / hardware integration.
• Basic understanding of GPU parallelization and neural network optimization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
