JD for compliance department:

1. Reply to user requests and queries as per standard processes set by the company

2. Collaborate with other areas such as Risk Management, Legal, Internal Audit, IT and HR to direct compliance incidents to the appropriate channels for their investigation.

3. Ensure appropriate external reporting of Compliance standards violations.

4. Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, managing and reporting on compliance throughout the bank and ensuring compliance of the organization’s activities in accordance with the applicable laws, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.

5. Apprise the Board and senior management on regulations, rules, standards and developments and provide clarification on any compliance related issues.

6. Report promptly to the Board / ACB / MD about any major changes / observations relating to the compliance risk.

7. Lead sensitive interactions and correspondence with Regulators (RBI, SEBI and Stock Exchanges) including responding to calls for information

8. Interface with various departments to help implement changes / new regulations as mandated by the RBI and for other regulators.
