Job Description

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Company Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in corporate governance, compliance, and secretarial practices. This role is crucial in ensuring that the company adheres to legal and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act and other relevant laws.
Maintain and update statutory registers and records.
Draft and review legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
Coordinate and facilitate board meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes.
Advise the board on corporate governance practices and policies.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and manage filings.
Manage shareholder communications and maintain shareholder registers.
Provide guidance on matters related to corporate law and governance.

Skills and Qualifications

Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from ICSI.
Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, and other relevant laws.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in legal drafting and documentation.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Experience with corporate governance and compliance practices.
