Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Manage daily interactions across WhatsApp, LinkedIn groups, and other community channels.
  • Drive member engagement through meaningful conversations, insights, and value-driven posts.
  • Welcome new members, onboard them, and ensure they understand community benefits and resources.
  • Track engagement metrics and identify ways to grow the community.

Events & Initiatives

  • Support planning, coordination, and execution of webinars, workshops, offline meetups, and community events.
  • Manage event registrations, reminders, follow-ups, and post-event feedback.

Content & Communication

  • Create community updates, announcements, newsletters, and engagement posts.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to generate content for social media that reflects community activity and impact.
  • Share opportunities, job updates, and resources with community members.

Member Support

  • Actively interact with community members to understand their needs, challenges, and suggestions.
  • Provide timely responses and escalate concerns where required.
  • Maintain a supportive and safe environment aligned with Women First Jobs values.

Partnership Support

  • Assist in coordinating with partner organizations, universities, coaches, and speakers for community-led activities.
  • Support in managing collaborations that bring value to the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (Communications, HR, Marketing preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in community management, customer success, marketing, or HR.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple conversations and tasks simultaneously.
  • Social-media savvy, especially with WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram.
  • Passion for women empowerment, career development, and community work.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in event coordination or hosting.
  • Content writing or social media engagement experience.
  • Proactive, friendly, and high-energy personality.
  • Ability to think creatively and solve problems with ownership.
