Employment Type: Full TimeLocation: Chennai, Tamil NaduOrganization: AIM for SevaAbout AIM for Seva: AIM for Seva is a pan-India NGO committed to transforming rural education by providing underprivileged children access to quality education, accommodation, and holistic development through its network of Chatralayams and rural schools.Role Overview: This is a full-time on-site role for a Communications Executive located in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the core communication strategies of AIM for Seva, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms, and strengthening the organization’s public image.Key Responsibilities:· Content Development: Create, edit, and manage compelling content for newsletters, annual reports, brochures, impact reports events and website updates.· Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance online presence, engage with the community, and promote ongoing projects.· Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers; draft press releases and organize press events.· Internal Communication: Ensure seamless communication between departments and support internal initiatives and campaigns.· Design Coordination: Collaborate with graphic designers and external vendors to produce high-quality visual content.· Impact Reporting: Collect success stories, case studies, and data from the field to showcase AIM for Seva’s impact.· Brand Consistency: Uphold brand guidelines and ensure uniformity in all communication channels.Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.· 5 years of experience in communication roles, preferably in the non-profit sector.Communication and Strategic Communications expertise· Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.· Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.· Familiarity with design softwares is a plus.· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Media Relations experienceExperience in visual storytelling, such as creating impact videos, is a plus.What We Offer:An opportunity to make a tangible impact on rural education and child welfare.Competitive salary Join us in our mission to bridge the education gap and empower rural children across India.Email your resumes to: gayathri@aimforseva.in
