Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis I to join our team at Marriott International. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and excellent culinary skills.

Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing high-quality dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure all food products are stored properly and used efficiently.
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and ingredients.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Culinary certification or relevant training is an asset.
