Commis Chef

We are seeking a talented and passionate Commis Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Commis Chef, you will work closely with our experienced chefs to assist in all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of high-quality dishes following standardized recipes and specifications.
• Collaborate with senior chefs to ensure timely and efficient food production.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, equipment, and utensils.
• Handle and store food items in compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Execute basic cooking techniques such as chopping, slicing, and grilling under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Support the team during service by plating dishes, garnishing, and ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Participate in kitchen training sessions and culinary workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent training is a plus.
• Basic understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from senior chefs.
• Strong passion for food and eagerness to learn new culinary techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
