Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers for materials and services. Ensure timely procurement based on production and sales requirements. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory. Coordinate with warehouse and production teams for accurate stock updates. Implement FIFO / LIFO systems and minimize wastage or stock-outs. Plan and manage transportation, dispatch, and delivery schedules. Coordinate with logistics partners for timely delivery to customers or branches. Track shipments and resolve any delivery or transport issues. Liaise with production and planning teams to ensure material availability. Support production schedules by aligning supply and demand forecasts. Maintain accurate records of purchases, stock, and dispatch. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly supply chain reports. Ensure compliance with documentation, billing, and GST norms. Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements. Support automation and system updates (ERP / Tally / SAP, etc.).
