Job Description

Key responsibilities

Food preparation: Chop, dice, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and standards.
Assisting senior chefs: Help with cooking and plating dishes under the guidance of chefs de partie or other senior staff.
Kitchen maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.
Hygiene and safety: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Stock management: Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, and assist with inventory and ordering.
Learning and development: Participate in training sessions and learn new culinary techniques to advance skills.
Team support: Assist other kitchen staff as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

Required skills and qualifications

Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Strong knife skills.
Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions precisely.
Physical stamina to work long hours.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
