Commercial Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Commercial Manager to oversee all commercial aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, financial planning, cost control, and ensuring profitability through efficient commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts

- Track and control project costs to ensure alignment with budgeted targets

- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality

- Analyze financial reports and provide commercial insight to support strategic decisions

- Manage vendor contracts, pricing negotiations, and procurement cost control

- Coordinate with the project, finance, and procurement teams to optimize resource utilization

- Evaluate project financial performance and prepare regular MIS reports

- Support tendering and bidding processes by providing commercial inputs

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge in budget management, cost control, and financial planning

- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills

- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

- Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial software

- Good understanding of contract law and procurement policies

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or Engineering (MBA preferred)

- 10-20 years of experience in a commercial or project finance role

- Experience in infrastructure, construction, or similar project-based industry preferred
