Job Title: Commercial Finance Manager FMCG (Corporate & Plant)

The Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for driving profitability, cost control, and commercial strategy across the FMCG business. This role bridges

Key Responsibilities

Corporate-Level Responsibilities

• Develop and implement

  commercial strategies

  aligned with company growth and profitability goals

• Lead

  pricing strategies, margin analysis, and profitability optimization across product categories

• Manage

  contracts and negotiations

  with suppliers, distributors, and key business partners

• Oversee

  commercial budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support revenue growth

• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and cost structures to support strategic decisions

• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and commercial governance

• Prepare commercial reports and present insights to senior management

Plant / Manufacturing-Level Responsibilities

• Control and optimize

  plant operating costs, including raw materials, packaging, logistics, and overheads

• Work closely with Plant Manager and Production teams to improve

  cost efficiency and yield

• Manage

  procurement activities

  for raw materials and services related to manufacturing

• Monitor

  inventory levels, wastage, and material consumption to reduce losses

• Support

  capex planning, cost-benefit analysis, and return-on-investment evaluations

• Ensure accurate cost allocation for products and production lines

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost per unit

Financial & Commercial Control

• Monitor gross margins, contribution margins, and cost variances

• Support audits, financial controls, and internal compliance reviews

• Evaluate commercial risks and propose mitigation strategies

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and develop commercial or procurement team members (if applicable)

• Act as a key liaison between

  corporate office and plant operations

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

  FMCG business models and manufacturing operations

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and financial skills

• Ability to interpret cost structures and financial data

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in

  Business, Finance, Commerce, Supply Chain, or Engineering

• MBA or professional certification (preferred)

• 510+ years of experience in

  commercial, finance, or supply chain roles

  within FMCG

• Experience working with both

  corporate teams and manufacturing plants
