In this role we are looking someone who will be part of the commercial contracting team in Genpact. Responsibilities: Responsible for reviewing of non-disclosure agreements, statement of work/work orders, Service Agreements, Data Privacy Agreements, change orders and other documents related to commercial transactions; and Should be asked to negotiate or assist a senior lawyer in negotiation of a reviewed document with external clients and internal stakeholders. The person should be comfortable working with technology, which will include MS Word, Power-point, Excel, workflow tools, digitized repository, and other associated tools. The person would be expected to work with a cross-functional team while completely owning the documents assigned to the person. Given the flexibility in work timings, the person will be responsible to meet all deadlines, including short review and turn-around cycles. This may require the person to match their work timing with senior lawyers in other countries. Person should be comfortable working independently with minimum guidance. Should have the ability to be proactive in reaching out and escalating issues and following up with effective execution. Should have strong interpersonal skills – Strong verbal and written communication with skills in achieving effective relationships. Concise, direct communication while under pressure, and active knowledge-sharing styles. Experience in contract review and drafting. Good understanding of contract laws, including but not limited to laws related to intellectual property, indemnifications, liability, and information technology/business process outsourcing.
