Summary:

The Commercial Appraisal Analyst supports commercial property valuations by collecting, analyzing, and validating market, financial, and property data. The role works closely with appraisers to produce accurate and timely appraisal reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and verify property, market, and financial data from MLS, CoStar, public records, and internal systems.
• Analyse income, expenses, sales comparable, and market trends to support valuation approaches.
• Prepare sections of appraisal reports and maintain complete work files.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards (USPAP/FIRREA).
• Update internal valuation systems and support process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to assess and evaluate commercial property data.
• Knowledge of finance and commercial markets with an understanding of property appraisal processes.
• Proficient communication and customer service skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, hybrid working environment.
• 3–4 years’ experience in appraisal, financial analysis, or CRE research (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related areas. Prior experience in property appraisal is an advantage.
