Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining the Okta Sales Team as a Commercial / Mid-Market Account Executive in India. Your main responsibility will be to drive territory growth by acquiring new commercial / mid-market customers and expanding relationships with existing customers. You will work closely with the Okta ecosystem to deliver consistent results with a focus on customer success. Key Responsibilities: - Pipeline Generation & New Business: Develop a vision and plan to build new pipeline across commercial / mid-market accounts in India. - Territory Growth: Achieve revenue targets through acquiring new customers and expanding existing relationships. - Upsell & Cross-sell: Identify opportunities to expand Okta's footprint within existing accounts. - C-Suite Engagement: Showcase Okta's value proposition to senior executives. - Account Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for repeatable and predictable bookings. - Partnerships: Collaborate with GSIs, regional SIs, and partners to open new opportunities. - Collaboration: Work closely with the Okta ecosystem to maximize account coverage and customer value. - Value-Based Selling: Take a consultative approach in customer conversations. - Travel: Meet with customers, prospects, and partners across India as required. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience selling complex SaaS solutions, preferably in security, identity, or related technologies in the India market. - Proven success in growing commercial / mid-market accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and acquiring new customers. - Ability to engage with C-suite and senior decision makers. - Experience working with GSIs and regional SIs in India. - Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in managing complex sales cycles with predictable outcomes. - Familiarity with value-based sales methodologies, such as MEDDPICC. - Self-driven, adaptable, and able to work effectively in teams.
