Collection Executive / Financial Advisor / Debt Recovery Agent

Job Summary: The Collection Executive / Debt Recovery Agent is responsible for following up with customers who have overdue payments and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding dues. The role involves handling outbound and inbound calls, maintaining customer relationships, negotiating payment plans, and updating records accurately in the system. Key Responsibilities: Make outbound calls to customers regarding overdue or defaulted payments. Remind customers of pending dues and negotiate for payment or settlement. Handle inbound queries related to billing, loan accounts, or payment status. Maintain and update accurate records of interactions and payment commitments. Escalate cases requiring further attention or legal action to the supervisor. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets. Ensure compliance with company policies, RBI guidelines, and data privacy standards. Maintain professionalism, empathy, and persistence while dealing with customers. Prepare periodic collection reports and share feedback to improve recovery processes. Key Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication skills in [English / Hindi / Regional language as applicable]. Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities. Customer-centric attitude with patience and empathy. Good computer literacy – MS Excel, CRM tools, or collection software. Ability to work under pressure and meet recovery targets. Basic understanding of credit, loans, or financial services preferred.
