Job Description

Job Title: CMM Operator cum Quality Engineer
No. of Position: 01
Location: Anandapur, Kolkata
Gross Salary: ₹22,000 per month
Duty Hours: 10 Hours per day

Job Description / Responsibilities:

Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to inspect and verify dimensions of components as per drawings and quality standards.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of measurements.
Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure adherence to manufacturing specifications.
Identify defects, deviations, and communicate findings with the production team for corrective actions.
Assist in root cause analysis and support quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and safe handling of measuring instruments and equipment.

Skills & Requirements:

Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or related field preferred.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a CMM Operator or in quality inspection.
Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and measurement techniques.
Familiar with various measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
