As a Cluster Leader for OPT business in MED India, your primary responsibility is to drive sales growth in the assigned territory and ensure a healthy market share. You will be leading a team of 3-4 sales account specialists and channel partners, requiring strong leadership skills to build and manage a high-performing team. Continuous team building and development, along with a combination of technical and commercial expertise, are crucial for success in this position. Your key accountabilities will include developing sales plans and strategies, monitoring team performance, managing sales operations, and executing detailed sales plans effectively. It will also involve analyzing market intelligence, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring market transparency by maintaining robust data in CRM tools. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as consumable, application, business development, and marketing will be essential to drive synergy and maximize business outcomes. People management and development are integral aspects of this role, where you will be responsible for driving performance, mentoring team members, and maintaining a skill matrix for skill enhancement and training. The key result areas for this role include meeting sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, achieving topline growth for OPT Business, increasing sales productivity in the territory, and maintaining compliance with operational activities. Additionally, focusing on team satisfaction, talent retention, and capability building will be critical for overall success. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area, with a preference for a Master's in Business Administration. A minimum of 8-10 years of work experience in Ophthalmology/healthcare and a track record of driving at least 12 Cr of Healthcare turnover per year for three years is preferred. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, commercial acumen, analytical skills, and proficiency in MS-Office are essential. A positive attitude, fluency in English, and additional languages are advantageous qualities for this role.
