Job Description

As a Cloud Technology Sales Specialist at NTT DATA, you will play a vital role in advancing our cloud technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include pursuing and closing qualified leads, tailoring solutions to meet client needs, and developing your own pipeline within your client base. Collaboration with pre-sales architects and close engagement with clients will be essential aspects of your role. In this position, you will be expected to stay abreast of the latest trends in cloud technology and the competitive landscape. This knowledge will enable you to engage in meaningful discussions with clients, conduct workshops and presentations, and build strong relationships that result in successful deals. Understanding client business objectives will be paramount. Rather than simply selling products, you will articulate how our solutions can help clients achieve their goals. Collaboration with technology vendors to integrate their solutions into our offerings will be crucial to ensure competitiveness and alignment with client requirements. Effective collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with internal teams to track and manage proposals, utilizing sales methodologies and tools to drive the sales process. Regular communication with key contacts and stakeholders will be essential to ensure alignment and progress. To excel in this position, you should possess a track record of achieving and surpassing sales and financial targets, particularly in a technology or services environment with a focus on cloud solutions. Strong sales experience, knowledge of competitors, and the ability to build relationships up to senior leadership levels are prerequisites. Proficiency in delivering compelling sales presentations, adept negotiation skills, and a client-centric mindset are also crucial. The ability to work effectively in a team-selling environment, adapt to changing priorities, and hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/systems, sales, or a related field is required.
