About This Opportunity
Join a dynamic team managing cutting-edge private cloud environments with a focus on OpenStack and Linux administration. This role offers the chance to work on enterprise-level architecture, handle complex cloud operations, and be involved in automation and container orchestration technologies. You'll be contributing to advanced infrastructure management, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across a diverse range of systems while collaborating closely with customers and teams.
What You Will Do
- Perform OpenStack cloud administration tasks including performance tuning, troubleshooting, resource management, availability zone configuration, host aggregation, tenant management, and virtual resource handling.
- Handle Linux Administration for both physical and virtual servers, covering OS installation, performance monitoring/optimization, kernel tuning, LVM, file systems, and security management.
- Manage and troubleshoot RHEL, Ubuntu, and CentOS systems, including upgrades and operational efficiency.
- Configure and troubleshoot network components (TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLAN, VXLAN, routing, DNS, DHCP, bridging, IP Tables).
- Operate and manage hardware interfaces like iLO, iDRAC, and CIMC.
- Implement robust security measures to protect workloads and data.
- Perform CEPH storage operations as per requirements.
- Use automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Work with Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Ensure compliance with SLA's, operational standards, and ITSM guidelines.
- Collaborate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
 
You will bring
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience with private cloud technologies, especially OpenStack and Linux.
- Red Hat OpenStack and RHCSA/RHCE certifications.
- Expertise in Linux administration and cloud concepts, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in automation scripting using Bash and Python.
- Understanding of SDN and NFV concepts.
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift for container orchestration.
- Strong networking skills including protocol and component configuration.
- Ability to manage hardware via iLO, iDRAC, and CIMC.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset to meet diverse requirements.
