Cloud Analyst

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Cloud Analyst to support our cloud computing infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring cloud environments, analyzing system performance, optimizing cloud resources, and supporting strategic cloud initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance, usage, and costs Support cloud migration and deployment efforts across public (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments Assist in optimizing cloud resources for efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness Generate regular reports on cloud usage, trends, and recommendations for improvement Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure compliance and performance standards are met Support incident response and troubleshooting efforts within the cloud ecosystem Maintain cloud documentation, configurations, and technical diagrams Assist with user access management, permissions, and security controls Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in cloud technologies Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Basic understanding of cloud services like EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Virtual Machines, etc. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) Proficiency in Excel and/or cloud cost management tools Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Certifications like AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) Understanding of cloud security, networking, and storage concepts Exposure to DevOps tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins is a plus Show more Show less
