Job Description

Deliver industry-leading clinical trial excellence with scientific insights and external engagement.
Partner with Clinical Operations Therapy Area Leads and Trial Managers on scientific and medical aspects of early trial planning, start-up, recruitment, and retention.
Provide scientific inputs to trial portfolio review, country allocation, and site feasibility processes.
Visit assigned sites periodically to discuss clinical trial conduct, strategies, and collect insights from site staff.
Contribute to site selection criteria and assess medical capabilities and scientific training needs at sites.
Engage relevant key opinion leaders who are investigators to optimize trial methodologies, mitigate recruitment and retention challenges, and build long-term relationships.
Establish a strong presence in new and current therapy areas and effectively communicate Novo Nordisk pipeline and scientific narrative to external stakeholders, especially those new to Novo Nordisk.
Secure mapping and updating of clinical care pathways for effective recruitment (including referrals) and retention in trials.
Build organizational readiness by collaborating with Therapy Area Leads and co-designing/ deploying scientific knowledge building for Clinical Operations on therapy area, product, and protocol.
Continuously exchange insights and introduce Medical Affairs colleagues to KOLs in new therapy areas, especially during pre-launch.
