Client Onboarding Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Supplier & Importer Onboarding

• Manage supplier/importer outreach via phone and email; collect, validate, and track documents (e.g., registrations, verifications, attestations)
• Monitor onboarding progress and proactively remove blockers

• Project Coordination

• Coordinate project communications, timelines, and stakeholder updates during the implementation phase
• Identify potential blockers and escalate risks as needed

• Regulatory & Process Alignment

• Collaborate with the FSVP team on document requirements, verification steps, and compliance workflows
• Utilize professional background to review and validate required documents
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), SLAs, and quality controls to ensure audit-ready records

• Client Training & Platform Enablement

• Deliver live and recorded training sessions on effective use of proprietary software platform features and workflows
  

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills & Experience

• 1-3 years in SaaS onboarding, implementation, client success, or operations (supplier/importer onboarding experience is a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple software platforms simultaneously
• Excellent organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills; strong attention to detail
• Client-facing communication skillsclear written and verbal English; ability to simplify technical concepts
• Familiarity with regulatory and project management; willingness to learn FSVP and U.S. FDA supplier verification processes

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Food Safety procedures and regulatory documents
• Strong proficiency with:
• Onboarding/document management platforms
• Excel/Google Sheets for data tracking; comfort with CSV imports/exports
• Experience delivering client training (live and virtual) and creating enablement content

Work Hours: Ideally 4:00am - 12 pm EST (2:30 pm - 10:30 pm IST);
