Job Description

Startup Client Engagement Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:


  • Build and manage strong relationships with startup clients, ensuring smooth and effective delivery of services.

  • Navigate the fast-paced, dynamic startup environment by understanding their challenges and speaking their language.

  • Bring fresh,

    entrepreneurial perspectives

    to client interactions, offering innovative solutions that drive trust, collaboration, and mutual growth.

  • Support clients through various

    funding rounds

    and assist in scaling their business sustainably.

Business Growth & Opportunity Expansion:


  • Contribute to expanding the firms footprint and

    share of wallet

    in client accounts, being accountable for business results at a minimum.

  • Bring

    disruptive and innovative ideas

    to originate new opportunities and pursue business-as-usual growth.

  • Leverage industry networks and collaborate with

    experienced Client Account Leaders (CALs)

    to deepen knowledge of the startup ecosystem and develop industry expertise.

  • Actively engage in

    complex commercial problem-solving

    and negotiations, ensuring the business needs of startups are met.

Support & Industry Mastery:


  • Work closely with internal teams to drive business growth and ensure a sustainable scale-up for the client.

  • Understand the broader growth trajectory of the

    startup industry

    and align service offerings with client needs.

  • Utilize deep industry knowledge to address the unique pain points and opportunities startups face at different stages of growth.

Ideal Candidate:


  • Experience

    working with startups or in entrepreneurial settings, with a strong understanding of

    funding rounds

    and the scaling process.

  • Ability to navigate

    unstructured, high-energy environments
