Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team as a Site, Tendering, and Estimation Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for managing site execution, preparing cost estimations, analyzing tender documents, and coordinating with vendors and project stakeholders to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Engineering:

Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure project execution as per design & quality standards.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams on-site.

Monitor progress, prepare daily/weekly progress reports.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Manage material requirements and usage at the site.

Estimation & Costing:

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.

Estimate the material, labor, and equipment required for civil works.

Analyze drawings, BOQs, and technical documents to prepare accurate cost projections.

Compare subcontractor quotations, analyze variations and prepare rate analysis.

Tendering:

Study tender documents, specifications, and drawings thoroughly.

Prepare pre-bid queries and coordinate with clients/consultants.

Assist in preparing technical and commercial bid proposals.

Maintain updated vendor database and cost databases.

Coordinate with procurement for cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain project estimation files and cost control documentation.

Prepare and submit tender/bid documents in required formats.

Support in preparing project budget and track deviations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Proven 2–6 years of experience in site execution, estimation, and tendering.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (like Candy, Primavera, etc.).

Good understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, rate analysis, and contract documents.

Strong communication and project coordination skills.

Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

Knowledge of local tendering procedures (government/private).

Familiarity with ERP systems for project costing.
