civil site engineer

1. Planning & Design

• Study drawings, specifications, and site layouts for road and drainage works.
• Assist in preparing design profiles, cross-sections, and alignment drawings.
• Coordinate with design consultants for geometric design, levels, and slopes.
• Verify survey data, contour maps, and reference benchmarks.

2. Execution & Site Supervision

• Supervise all road construction activities including excavation, subgrade preparation, GSB, WMM, and bituminous layers.
• Check camber, gradient, and cross-fall as per approved drawings.
• Ensure proper compaction and density of layers as per MORTH / IRC standards.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, surveyors, and contractors for work sequencing.
• Monitor usage of machinery such as graders, rollers, pavers, and JCBs.

3. Quality Assurance & Control

• Conduct field tests for soil compaction, density, and material quality.
• Ensure proper batching and laying of bituminous mix as per design mix.
• Maintain quality records, test reports, and inspection logs.
• Check for adherence to QA/QC plans and safety standards.

4. Quantity Surveying & Billing

• Prepare quantity take-offs for each road layer and verify contractor bills.
• Maintain daily material consumption and progress records.
• Assist in cost estimation and rate analysis for new works.

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with drainage, utility, and structural teams to avoid service clashes.
• Report daily progress and issues to the Project Manager.
• Prepare DPRs (Daily Progress Reports), weekly schedules, and site logs.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and project deadlines.

6. Maintenance & Handover

• Conduct inspections during maintenance or defect liability periods.
• Rectify uneven patches, potholes, and drainage issues.
• Prepare as-built drawings and final completion reports

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per year
