Civil Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Site Supervision: Overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring workers follow instructions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Progress Monitoring: Tracking project progress, identifying potential delays, and taking corrective actions. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress reports, and test results. Safety Management: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety inspections, and addressing safety concerns. Quality Control: Monitoring the quality of materials and workmanship, conducting tests, and ensuring adherence to specifications. Stakeholder Communication: Communicating with clients, subcontractors, and other relevant parties to keep them informed of progress and address any issues. Technical Support: Providing technical support to subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives. Budget Management: Managing project budgets, ensuring adherence to cost estimations, and identifying cost-saving measures. Resource Management: Managing materials, equipment, and manpower to ensure timely completion of the project. Surveying and Setting Out: Performing site surveys, setting out construction lines, and ensuring accurate alignment. Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving technical issues and unexpected challenges. Report Preparation: Preparing detailed reports on project progress, safety issues, and quality control measures. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards. Material and Equipment Management: Ensuring the availability of necessary materials and equipment for the project.
