Civil Site Engineer

Job Title:Construction Engineer – Site Location: Udupi Job Type:Full-time, On-site Role Overview: The Construction Engineer will be responsible for managing on-site execution of construction works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of the project. The role involves supervising contractors, coordinating with consultants, and maintaining all site-related documentation and reporting. Responsibilities: **1. Site Execution & Supervision** * Oversee daily construction activities including civil, structural, and finishing works. * Ensure execution as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards. * Plan daily and weekly work schedules for site teams and contractors. * Monitor progress and resolve on-site technical issues. **2. Quality & Safety Control** * Ensure all work complies with design, structural safety, and material quality standards. * Inspect and approve materials delivered to site. * Enforce safety protocols and housekeeping at the site. **3. Coordination & Communication** * Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, vendors, and project managers. * Communicate daily progress, delays, and resource needs to management. * Conduct regular site meetings and update work status reports. **4. Material & Labor Management** * Maintain daily logs of labor deployment, material consumption, and machinery usage. * Verify and track contractor bills and work quantities. * Raise purchase requests for materials in advance. **5. Documentation & Reporting** * Maintain daily progress reports, quality checklists, and measurement sheets. * Support in preparing RA bills and site-level documentation for audits or inspections. * Ensure drawings and revisions are properly recorded and followed. **Qualifications & Skills:** * Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering. * 3–7 years of experience in building construction (residential/commercial/villa projects preferred). * Strong knowledge of civil execution, reinforcement detailing, finishing works, and structural drawings. * Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and site reporting formats. * Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple contractors and site teams simultaneously. **Preferred Experience:** * Experience with **villa or gated community projects**, **farm-based layouts**, or **resort-style construction**. * Familiarity with **Vastu-aligned** designs, **waterproofing**, **drainage**, and **foundation works**.
