Civil Project Manager – Sports Infrastructure (Budget: 6LPA - 8LPA)

Office Location: Fort, Mumbai

Project Manager

Job Purpose

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of sports infrastructure projects — ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and client-centric coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Development

  • Define scope, objectives, and deliverables with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans with timelines and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate designs with architects and engineers to meet sports facility standards.

2. Team Management & Coordination

  • Lead teams of architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Set clear expectations and foster effective communication.
  • Collaborate with clients and regulatory bodies.

3. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Prepare and manage budgets, estimates, and procurement.
  • Monitor costs and ensure financial alignment.
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions.

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to safety norms and facility standards.
  • Conduct inspections and enforce quality control.
  • Resolve design or construction deviations swiftly.

5. Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Act as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Share progress updates and manage approvals.
  • Address concerns and maintain client satisfaction.

6. Risk Management

  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  • Implement contingency plans for delays or challenges.

7. Project Execution & Handover

  • Oversee daily execution and ensure plan adherence.
  • Conduct final inspections and ensure quality delivery.
  • Manage project closure and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
  • 5+ years in project management, preferably in sports or commercial infrastructure.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Strong grasp of sports facility design and compliance.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
