Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Civil and Mechanical Engineers and Supervisors to manage, execute, and oversee civil and mechanical works in solar EPC projects. The role involves supervising site teams, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance, and coordinating with project managers and other technical teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Civil Engineering Responsibilities
Supervise and manage civil works, including foundations, mounting structures, access roads, drainage systems, and fencing for solar PV projects.
Review and interpret civil drawings and design specifications for accurate implementation.Ensure compliance with construction standards, building codes, and project specifications.Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely completion of civil works.Conduct site inspections and monitor construction quality and progress.
- Mechanical Engineering Responsibilities
Supervise installation of mechanical components, including solar module mounting structures, trackers, and mechanical assemblies.
Ensure mechanical systems are installed according to design drawings and manufacturer specifications.Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical installations.Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
Coordinate with electrical, civil, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of all project activities.
Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for civil and mechanical works.Liaise with vendors and contractors for timely delivery and installation of civil and mechanical materials.
Ensure all civil and mechanical works comply with project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Conduct inspections and testing to verify structural integrity and mechanical functionality.Document deviations and coordinate corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Implement strict adherence to safety protocols and best practices on site.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.Promote a culture of safety and accountability among site teams.
- Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily progress reports, inspection checklists, and quality records.Provide updates on project progress, issues, and achievements to Project Manager/Head of Civil & Mechanical.Support preparation of as-built drawings, operation manuals, and project documentation for client submission.
Education
Qualifications & Experience
Engineers: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.Supervisors: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in civil/mechanical drawings, construction/installation methods, project management, and quality standards.
