Civil Engineer(Sewer and storm pipeline)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Sewer and Storm Pipeline Engineer with proven experience in the design, execution, and maintenance of sewerage and stormwater drainage projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of pipeline systems, site execution, quality control, and compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and supervise the construction of sewer and stormwater drainage pipelines.
• Review drawings, designs, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and local authorities for smooth project execution.
• Ensure proper installation of manholes, chambers, catch basins, and pumping stations where required.
• Identify and resolve any technical challenges at site.
• Verify materials and ensure they meet IS/IRC/CPHEEO standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including daily progress reports, quality test reports, and as-built drawings.
• Supervise hydro-testing, leak testing, and jointing methods of sewer and storm pipelines.
• Support the billing team with measurement checks and quantity verification.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in sewerage and stormwater pipeline projects.
• Strong knowledge of pipeline materials (RCC, HDPE, DWC, DI, etc.) and installation techniques.
• Hands-on experience in surveying, leveling, and alignment setting for pipelines.
• Familiarity with IS codes, CPHEEO Manual, and relevant construction standards.
• Ability to handle a team of site supervisors, foremen, and workers.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
